General Data Protection Regulation

The new European law on the protection of personal data (the so-called GDPR) imposes on those who collect and process personal data new obligations of transparency towards users.

In particular, it obliges to declare in advance:

  • who is the Data Controller of your personal data
  • what your data is processed
  • if the provision of data is mandatory 
  • the purposes for which your personal data are processed
  • the type and methods of treatment

Why do we need to use your personal data?


The main reason we need your personal data is to confirm reservations at our agriturismo.

Is the provision of data mandatory?

The provision of data is free and done on your own initiative, but the refusal to provide such data may not make it possible to carry out the requested services. Upon arrival, customers will be required to present an identification document for the purpose of communicating their presence to Public Security Authorities .

Type and method of treatment

Pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 30.06.2003 n. 196, all personal data of our customers will be processed both by computer systems and manually, in order to fulfill tax obligations (draw up invoices, record data etc.) and provide the requested service.

Furthermore, we may use the data to fulfill our legal obligations, including complying with current regulations and regulations, responding to legitimate requests made by the competent authorities and so on.

In any case, we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and its consequent use is appropriate for the purpose and does not constitute a violation of user privacy.

- used to contact the user in case of need (for example, to respond to any requests regarding reservations);

- made available to the Data Controller's collaborators, as Managers or persons authorized to process personal data;

- communicated to third parties, natural or legal, public administrations, professionals, law enforcement agencies, government authorities , regulatory authorities, courts or other public authorities authorized by law

What information do we collect?

-The name and surname, the date of birth, the phone number, e-mail and country of origin requested by us during the booking process.

- Any personal information that the user chooses to disclose through us or by sending a message via e-mail.

-The user's IP address, as well as information on his browser, type of operating system, type of device (portable or mobile) used for payments for reservations.

How long do we keep your personal data?

We keep the user's personal data for the time strictly necessary for the fulfillment of the specific purpose for which they were acquired at most for the duration established by law for the conservation of commercial correspondence (10 years).

How do we protect your data?

We take all appropriate legal, technical and organizational measures in order to protect your personal data from accidental or intentional manipulation, as well as from loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons.

Agriturismo La Perlara does not control or monitor these websites and their contents. Your rights

As long as the user's personal data are in our possession or being processed by us, the user can exercise the following rights: Right of access - the user has the right to request a copy of the information concerning him and which is in our possession.

Right of rectification - the user has the right to request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") - in certain circumstances, the user can request that the data concerning him be deleted from our records.

Right to limitation of treatment - in some cases, the user has the right to limit the processing of his personal data.

Right to data portability - the user has the right to request that his personal data in our possession be transferred to another organization.

Right to object - the user has the right to object to certain types of processing of his personal data, such as direct marketing.

Right to object to automated decision-making, including profiling - the user also has the right not to be subjected to the legal effects of automated processing or profiling.
